By this time you must know I am a sucker for a good ‘How we met/Fell in Love’ story; and this one proves to be one of my favorites in a long time. N + B met right (and I mean RIGHT like a few days) before the pandemic was announced and dreadfully blazed its way into our lives. However, in the dim light of an Oakland bar a delightful flame had sparked. I am sure we all may have our conversation starter topics and one liners when we mingle. However, I must admit talking CHEMISTRY is one I have ever heard. But for this lovely pair it was just the right flicker to ignite the flames. From there the pair connected and even spent the quarantine days together falling deeper in love. It’s such a beautiful thing to hear positive stories come from 2020.

Flash-forward here we are up in the jaw dropping mountains of Yosemite on a cool afternoon. As we searched the area for the perfect location and tracked through the small amounts of snow that had yet to melt, we came upon the scenes you see below. I was thankful to have Inka on this journey for at the time I wasn’t in shape to hike or to stand the freezing temperatures for long periods of time. Yet, the session was unforgettable and we topped of the day with a special champagne toast between the two.
