Remember that super weird day back in September where all of the Bay Area was just ORANGE! Like President 45 Orange? Yeah?! Well, my super chill and amazing couple J+J had their engagement session the following day. I was of course worried what the images would look like, and how we would navigate the strange weather. However, as always the downtown walk provided such beautiful images to match this couples laid back, funny, light spirit. What I genuinely loved about their engagement session is that neither went out their way to do something that wasn’t them. They wore outfits that were comfortable and yet perfect for the shoot. Many couples feel they have to prepare extravagant outfits for their sessions, but you can capture intimate lovely photos with just the basics… YOU! The sweetest capture was their inclusion of custom tribute shirts to Kobe + Gigi Bryant. A wonderful addition to the shoot in honor of JJ’s love for Kobe, and honestly the worlds hero and heroine. I can’t wait to capture their big day in 2022!!!
