Just for Keila | Newborn Lifestyle

Recently we announced we would no longer be offering newborn sessions; which is still the case. However, when the Horner’s called us we couldn’t resist. Michael & Kelly were one of the first couples to take a chance on Kind Hearted Images to shoot their engagement session. Since then we have grown as a company and this dear couple’s family has grown also. We completely fell in love with Keila, her sweet giggle, innocent cry, and just like you might have noticed that beautiful lovely SMILE AND DIMPLES.

The reason I really enjoy doing ‘lifestyle’ sessions for newborns vs. your typical posed baby pictures is that it really creates a mood and connections between the family. I love capturing the intimate moments between parents and child. The comfortability they all feel being in their home. Currently, we have been transitioning to shooting more film in our business versus digital. I chose to shoot with Ektar 100 to create a nice golden tone to the portraits that would highlight the warm soothing mood, and also the beauty in this gorgeous mixed family.
