Astrid in the Vines | Senior Vineyard Session

I absolutely love visiting the vineyards around my hometown. I know that I am truly fortunate to have wine country in my backyard basically. Astrid’s senior photos were a perfect among the lush green vines and beautiful sunny day. Astrid’s sister and brother-in-law had previously done a family session at one of my favorite wineries for family shoots, and though she wanted something similar my goal; as always, was to provide her with a unique and personalized experience. 

I love the Vezer Family and their wineries in between the valleys of Fairfield, California are such small and beautiful intimate locations. Though they have three separate venues they are remotely close to each other and each venue is unique and detailed to match the area. Astrid’s simple yet elegant looks were perfect among the beautiful white barn, and smoky wine barrels. Crazy fact about this shoot! I shot this 48 hours after being in the hospital with stage 5 kidney failure for 6 months and on dialysis. I kid you not, but if you know me then you know; this is nothing new.
