Vows & Vines | Intimate Healdsburg Wedding
Some weddings have surprise dances, and some have surprise announcements! YES, you read that right. This sweet unique couple surprised their close family with a special announcement as they sat for a chefs special dinner. However, I will talk more about that in a minute. First, I have to tell you I don’t think I teared up so much at a wedding as I did for these two. Zach and Christina’s first look had Inka and I both trying to hold back tears. His love for her was expressed so much with his words, his clear admiration, and thoughtfulness. As they did a small intimate first look in the corridor of a private vineyard; the groom stood nervously waiting as his bride made her way around. As he turned to see his beautiful bride his face lit up and so did hers. For in that moment as they embraced time truly stood still; I even almost forgot to take pictures! I love first looks for this very reason. Before you take that walk down the aisle with everyone looking at you; having this small window where it is just the two of you (and awesome photographers… like Kind Hearted Images 😉) together in a private moment is truly priceless. If this first look didn’t make you tear up, then the BIG announcement was for sure to get you! As they all sat down to a lovely dinner cooked on site by the awesome chef of Chachos Catering; the family found maroon sealed envelopes on each of their place settings.
