San Francisco Sweethearts | Engagement Session

I was immediately in love with Stephany’s idea to capture her engagement shoot in a very intimate native San Francisco way. A quiet intimate coffee shop and a few at a historic landmark. Anybody and everybody knows the face of the Bay Area has immensely changed in the past few years, and many of our local mom and pops have suffered under the changes. It was refreshing to sit down with a couple who knew the place I call home like the back of their hand, and could understand how much these local spots mean to us who have called the city and the Bay Area home for most/to all of our lives.

Stephany and Mario have been together for almost 10 years, and that in itself is amazing. The two met and college and were inseparable ever since. I knew going in I wanted to make sure their engagement shoot not only captured that young love, but also the comfortableness and ease they had with each other. No better coffee shop could I think of then Home Cafe in San Francisco. A beautiful college cafe, in the nook of the Richmond District. With their unique latte designs and open space, it would be perfect for the two. After we traveled down to the icon Palace of Fine Arts for some fun shots at a very memorable and historic spot in SF. Everyone loves the icon structure of the Palace, while of course I am constantly mesmerized by the gorgeous teal doors alongside the classic feel. The best part about this location was Stephany’s HOT PINK shoes! What an awesome way to bring a little pop color and personality to your engagement shoot. I can’t wait to see what this future bride does for her upcoming wedding! Until then check out some highlights below!
